About the event

Join us for the opening reception of Making Our Mark: An Exploration of Vandal Futurism and DENVER WALLS 2023!

This exhibition features local, national, and international artists who are leading contributors to the Post-Vandalism and Graffiti-Futurism street art and mural movements. Curated by Anthony Garcia Sr., RedLine Resident Artist Alumni and Founder/Director of Alto Gallery and Birdseed Collective.

DENVER WALLS is an international series of festivals created by Jasper Wong in an effort to beautify cities and cultivate a build a bridge between local artists and their communities.

Making Our Mark honors and acknowledges that for many artists, street art, murals, and graffiti art functions as their first exposure to the fine arts.

Though the genre emerged and is experienced beyond the confines of museums, institutions and galleries, street art continues to claim a space that is accessible and inspiring to all.

On display September 23-November 3, 2023.
